Four word puzzles. Every day.
Last updated 5 September 2026.
Wordary works offline and keeps your puzzles, streak and settings on your own device. No account, no sign-in, and nothing about you is sent to us.
The app shows ads from Google AdMob. Where the law requires it, you are asked first, and you can change your answer at any time in Settings.
Your progress, streak, statistics, badges and settings are stored in the app’s own storage on your phone. They are not backed up to us and are not readable by other apps.
Removing the app, or using "Reset progress" in Settings, deletes all of it. We hold no copy, so there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf.
Ads are supplied by Google AdMob. To show them, Google may process technical information such as your device’s advertising identifier, IP address, device type and coarse location, and may use cookies or similar identifiers.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, a consent form appears before any ad is requested. If you do not consent to personalised ads, ads are still shown but are not personalised.
You can reopen that form at any time: Settings, then "Ad privacy choices". On Android you can also reset or delete your advertising ID in the system settings, under Privacy.
Google’s handling of that data is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and you can review the partners at support.google.com/admob.
There is no analytics library, no crash reporting service, no social network integration and no advertising identifier used by us.
We do not ask for your name, email address, contacts, photos, files, precise location or microphone.
We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not build profiles.
Internet access is used only to fetch ads. The app is fully playable in aeroplane mode.
Notifications are used only for the daily reminder you switch on yourself, and it is scheduled by your phone rather than sent from a server.
Vibration is used for the small taps you feel when you type, and can be turned off in Settings.
Wordary is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Ad requests are marked as suitable for a general audience, and ad content is limited accordingly.
Under the GDPR and the UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
Because we hold no personal data about you, requests about the data on your device are answered by the app itself: everything is visible in Statistics and Settings, and "Reset progress" erases it.
For data processed by Google in connection with advertising, Google is the controller. Use the "Ad privacy choices" form to change your consent, or contact Google directly.
The lawful basis for showing personalised ads is your consent. Where ads are not personalised, the limited processing needed to show them relies on legitimate interests in funding a free app.
